Daniel Ferry joined Unisys in 2008 and serves as vice president, Corporate Development and Transformation. In this role, Dan leads transformation activities, including mergers and acquisitions, integrations, restructurings and continuous business improvement projects.
With an extensive 25-year career focused on strategic development, Dan has helped guide the company through significant acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and other inorganic strategic initiatives.
His expertise in deal sourcing, conducting thorough target assessments, due diligence and strategic fit analysis has helped in positioning Unisys at the forefront of the industry. Dan’s proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis ensures that each corporate venture aligns with Unisys’s strategic objectives and enhances its operational efficacy and market growth.
His professional journey began in the Audit and Financial Advisory group at Arthur Andersen, laying a solid foundation in financial principles and business advisory. Dan’s tenure at Bank of America as vice president of Investment Banking refined his skills in orchestrating complex capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions.
Following his success in investment banking, Dan ventured into private equity, where he spent two years developing strategies for business acquisitions, equity investments and portfolio management. This experience gave him a unique perspective on business valuation that complements his role in corporate development.
Dan holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Notre Dame and an undergraduate degree in accounting from LaSalle University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
