Bringing insights and capabilities to our service portfolio
Unisys builds high-performance, security-centric solutions for the most demanding businesses and governments. The ability to effectively attract and engage minority-owned, women-owned, and small business suppliers provides us with unique insights in each of these areas which is critical to retaining a competitive advantage.
An important part of our global supply chain is our Supplier Diversity Program. This program provides guidance and support to all business units and ensures direction toward achieving company Supplier Diversity Goals.
When the Unisys Supplier Diversity Program evaluates suppliers, we are looking for industry expertise and insight, along with the capability to deliver to a company of our size. This means we seek suppliers who are focused on helping deliver product quality, competitive cost and superior service in addition to having a solid foundation for capacity, and financial stability.
Suppliers must hold valid minority-owned, women-owned business, or disadvantaged business enterprise certifications or maintain valid registration as a small business through the Small Business Administration.
Certifications must be from an approved third-party organization. The approved third-party organization administers an in-depth review of all aspects of the business to ensure it is owned, operated and managed by minorities, and/or women.
